Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20

Worshiping God, evangelizing the lost, teaching and perfecting the saints so that we will be equipped for
the work of ministry and to build up and strengthen the body of Christ for the unity and maturity for the
glory of God.

Vision Scripture
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for
an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will
surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3
Vision Statement
Reaching, rebuilding, restoring, and refining the family while knowing Christ and making Christ known.

Rock of Faith Family Church was founded in 1985 under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Hennon
Cooper, Jr. with his wife, Rev. Brenda L. Cooper at their home at 9510 Timberbluff Circle, Dallas, TX.
The church was founded under of the name of Rock of Faith Baptist Church. The church moved from their home to Acton Elementary to 7151 Field View Lane. Many souls were saved, many lives changed at that location until the building was sold in 2006. After moving to several locations within Cedar Hill, TX, on December 4, 2011, we moved into our new church building - Hope Lutheran Church, 917 Straus Road in Cedar Hill, TX under the pastorate of Joel & Wendy Berthelsen. We worshipped at that location for many years.
On August 30, 2019, the Lord saw fit to call our founding pastor home. His son, Hennon D. Cooper, Sr.
accepted pastorship in September 2019. Our church endured the COVID pandemic and met at Hope
Lutheran until the sell of their building in September 2024. Our last meeting at Hope Lutheran was
September 15, 2024.
The Lord opened the doors to New Greater Memorial Family Church, under the
pastorage of Kelly Austin, at 1401 Ranch Valley Drive, Desoto, TX with our first service on September 29th, 2024.
We are currently worshipping at this location until the Lord sees fit to once again grant us our own building.
